Clallam County Public Utility District No. 1 customers can pay their bills by credit card beginning Feb. 1, the utility’s Board of Commissioners agreed Monday.
Utility customers will be pay by credit card at the PUD office, over the phone and even through meter readers during normal business hours.
Customers also can arrange to have their credit cards automatically billed every month. They already can pay by electronic fund transfers through their bank or other participating institutions.
The PUD provides electricity service to unincorporated areas of Clallam County and the city of Sequim. It also provides water and sewer services to some unincorporated areas.
