No fooling!
The Clallam County Public Utility District is considering reducing electricity rates when its wholesale power costs drop 7 percent on April 1.
PUD commissioners on Monday asked their staff to report back March 4 on how much retail power rates could be reduced, the administrative costs and procedures for such a reduction and its impact on the utility’s financial situation.
Customers could see a rate decrease of around 3.5 percent during the summer months.
