The third day of election filing produced seventeen more candidates, but only one more primary election race.
Wednesday’s filings bring the slate to 69 candidates in Clallam County, with 13 positions still attracting no candidates.
Three candidates filed for two positions in Olympic Memorial Hospital elections Wednesday.
Jean Hordyk of Port Angeles filed for commissioner District No. 2, Position No. 2.
John Borah and Suzanne Hayden filed for commissioner District No. 3, Position No. 1.
They will face Marv Chastain and incumbent Connie Lawrence on the Sept. 18 primary election ballot.
The top two vote-getters advance to the Nov. 6 general election.
