CARLSBORG — Clallam County Public Utility District #1 has announced a scheduled power outage for customers on the West End from 11:45 p.m. Saturday, May 22, through 8 a.m. Sunday, May 23.
The outage will allow PUD and Bonneville Power Administration crews to replace power poles and perform substation maintenance.
PUD work crews will take advantage of the outage to perform routine maintenance as well.
The outage will affect all customers west of Lake Crescent, including Forks, Neah Bay and Sekiu.
More than 5,000 affected customers have been notified by automated phone calls.
