PORT ANGELES — Clallam County voters had returned by Tuesday 3,771 primary ballots, or 8 percent, of the 47,132 mailed to registered voters last Wednesday, county Auditor Patty Rosand said.
In Jefferson County, 2,622 primary ballots, or 11.47 percent, of the 22,851 mailed to registered voters had been returned as of Tuesday.
Ballots must be postmarked for the all-mail primary by Aug. 5.
Ballots can also be dropped off by 8 p.m. Aug. 5 at one of the following locations:
■ Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
■ Sequim Village Shopping Center, 609 W. Washington St., near the city’s utility payment drop box in the J.C. Penney parking lot.
■ Forks District Court, 502 E. Division St.
All registered voters should now have a ballot, Rosand said.
Anyone who has not received a ballot should phone the Auditor’s Office at 360-417-2221 for a replacement ballot or stop by the Auditor’s Office in the county courthouse.
