Chester Prudhomme of Port Townsend collects George Harrison memorabilia, not because of its potential value but because he likes the former Beatle’s musicianship.
Harrison died Thursday of cancer in Los Angeles. He was 58.
“I don’t collect Beatles — I collect George Harrison,” Prudhomme said. “I always thought he was the best musician of all the Beatles. He was a very great underrated guitar player.
“As a solo artist, he was a more complete musician than the others, more realized. I always appreciated his slide guitar and I liked his politics.”
