The winners in each category of our Online Halloween Costume Contest — Kids and Adults — have been chosen, picked by online voters.
All the winners are monstrously spectacular:
KIDS
First Prize: “Zombie Queen and King,” submitted by Kristie Deese of Forks.
Second Prize: “Little Logger Wyatt,” submitted by Emily Winegar of Port Angeles.
ADULTS
First Prize: “Zipper Face,” submitted by Tamara Keller of Port Angeles, pictured.
Second Prize: “Horseless Headsman,” submitted by Tracy Pitz of Port Angeles; winner is Bill Faulk, pictured.
The contest was hosted by the three newspapers of the North Olympic Peninsula — Peninsula Daily News, Sequim Gazette and Forks Forum.
Congratulations to our winners!
Our prizemeister, Vivian Hansen (360-452-2345, ext. 3058; vhansen@peninsuladailynews.com), will be in touch with you.
We have gifts for our four winners from our contest’s spooktacular sponsors — Wilder Auto ($50 service gift certificate for the adult first-prize winner); Elwha River Casino ($25 slot card for adult second-prize winner); Fiesta Jalisco ($25 gift certificate for kids first-prize winner); and First Federal ($25 Visa gift card for kids second-prize winner).
