U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer of Port Angeles will hold two town hall meetings with the North Olympic Peninsula public on Tuesday.
Kilmer, a Democrat whose 6th congressional district includes Clallam and Jefferson counties, will hold the first meeting from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Peninsula College’s Little Theater, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
He will hold the second meeting from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Fort Worden State Park Conference Center at the Fort Worden Commons, Company A, 200 Battery Way, in Port Townsend.
Participants at the Fort Worden event will be exempt from paying access-parking fees from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
Doors will open at both sites a half-hour before the meetings begin.
“Town halls are open to the public and all are encouraged to attend,” Kilmer’s spokesman Stephen Carter said in an email announcing the events.
Kilmer also will hold town hall meetings next week in Bremerton and Bainbridge Island on Wednesday, Aberdeen May 31 and Tacoma on June 1.
