PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Conservation Futures Program is accepting applications for a second round of conservation futures easements on farmland.
The program is funded by a special property tax levy established by RCW 84.34.230 “to preserve lands of public interest for future generations.”
Applications must be received no later than noon Friday, May 12; applicants and landowners may be asked to host a site visit.
Applications will be reviewed at a regular meeting of the Conservation Futures Program Advisory Board at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 14 in Suite 5 of the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St.
