Construction equipment sits near Siebert Creek on the now-closed westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101 east of Port Angeles.
Work continues to remove five existing culverts at Siebert and Bagley creeks and replace them with full-span bridges or larger concrete-box culverts to improve fish passage and increase the likelihood of fish migration.
Three smaller culverts also will be replaced at nearby James Page and Bagley Creek roads.
Traffic on the highway is reduced to one lane in each direction through the duration of the project, which is expected to last through fall 2021.
