Forget to vote for Best of the Peninsula 2013 in separate Clallam County and Jefferson County voting?

No problem: Today’s deadline has been extended to noon this Wednesday, July 10.

For the second straight year, all voting for the scores of categories reflecting the best of services, food, places and people is being done online. There will be no ballots in the print editions of the Peninsula Daily News.

Winners will be announced during the final week of August.

And if you complete a minimum 50 percent of either a Clallam County or Jefferson County ballot, you can be eligible to win one of two $50 prizes.
