Department of Revenue to host tax workshop

PORT ANGELES — The state Department of Revenue will conduct a business tax workshop at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The free workshop will be in Maier Hall at Peninsula College’s Port Angeles campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

Attendees must register at https://dor.wa.gov/events/2024-06/business-tax-basics-port-angeles.

The three-hour workshop will cover excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, sales tax collections and record-keeping requirements.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask tax questions specific to their business.
