JOYCE — Delays on state Highway 112 should be expected this week near the Lyre River Bridge, depending on weather.
The state Department of Transportation announced that maintenance crews will make repairs to the driving surface of the bridge west of Joyce this week, if weather cooperates.
According to a press release, the crews will work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Thursday. Traffic will be reduced to a single alternating lane at the bridge with flaggers providing traffic control.
Drivers are encouraged to plan extra travel time to reach their destinations, according to the release.
