PORT LUDLOW — Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies want to speak with two women about an unsolved rash of local burglaries.
Deputies are looking for Mandy Sellar and Sharlie A. Lamb, ages and addresses unknown, Sheriff’s Office Det. Dave Miller said.
He would not comment further about the two women.
However, he said authorities began searching for the women earlier this week after a Kitsap County deputy arrested John Toriano, age and address unknown.
Toriano was arrested after he allegedly stole a Cadillac from Port Ludlow and crashed while fleeing from deputies in Kitsap County, Miller said.
“The chances have just gone way up that we might serve a search warrant,” he said.
Miller wouldn’t say what evidence the Sheriff’s Office has connecting the two women or Toriano to the burglaries.
But Miller and deputy Tony Hernandez talked about the rash of burglaries during Thursday’s Village Council meeting.
