PORT ANGELES — A benefit for Diane Schostak with “fine people, food, music and fun” plus a silent auction will be held at Lake Crescent Lodge from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16.
The event, “A Night with Diane,” is to raise money to help Schostak meet medical expenses.
The longtime Forks resident, former director of the Forks Chamber of Commerce and retired executive director of the Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau is being treated for cancer.
Cost is $40, payable at the door. Cash or checks, please.
The lodge is closed for the season but is reopening for this fundraiser. Music will be provided by Loose Gravel.
RSVPs are requested to Mike Rainey at mike.rainey@makah.com. But last-minute walk-ins will be welcome.
Contact Rainey as soon as possible if you have items for the silent auction.
Or contact Lissy Andros, executive director of the Forks Chamber of Commerce, 360-374-2531 or email her at director@forkswa.com.
