SEQUIM — It was Plow Day on Saturday at the Pumpkin Patch, the landmark field at the corner of U.S. Highway 101 and Kitchen-Dick Road west of Sequim and Carlsborg.
Area residents prepared the field for another season using their tractors, horses and plows beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday.
The Sequim High School FFA offered hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and beverages to raise money for their organization during the volunteer work.
Plowing featured an array of classics, including a team of horses.
PDN photographer Keith Thorpe, a Kansas native who said he learned to drive on a tractor, shot this short video of Plow Day. Enjoy!
