PORT ANGELES — Trinadey Coville, a lifeguard at William Shore Memorial Pool in Port Angeles, swims with her dog, Hero, during the last day of public swimming at the pool Friday.
The current pool is slated for demolition with an improved facility to be built at the site.
On Friday, the water level of the pool was lowered and members of the public were allowed to bring in their dogs for a final swim before being drained completely.
