DOT: State Highway 112 reopens after flooding closure

PYSHT — State Highway 112 reopened this morning after being closed by flooding Tuesday near Pillar Point Road.

The rising waters closed Highway 112 in both directions Tuesday afternoon from milepost 24 to milepost 29, according to a state Department of Transportation bulletin.

The closure near Green Creek was lifted at 10:06 a.m. Wednesday, according to another Transportation bulletin.

Transportation cited the cause of the closure as rising river water that caused flooding on the roadway.
