Both lanes of state Highway 112 at Milepost 22 near Clallam Bay Creek were blocked for much of Tuesday morning after a log truck wreck that occurred at 6:30 a.m.
The State Patrol said no one was injured and no other vehicles were involved.
Trooper Russ Winger said the truck driver, Port Angeles resident Ryan K. Wilcox, 24, told investigators he was eastbound when he drove onto the right shoulder of the highway and overcorrected.
When the 2005 Kenworth truck he was driving re-entered the roadway, the loaded 1991 trailer broke free from the truck, dumping its load of logs.
The truck then rolled onto its passenger side and rotated, coming to rest across the road.
Wilcox was wearing a seat belt.
Cleanup work was completed by 1 p.m., and the road was reopened to traffic at about 1:20 p.m. after being blocked for six hours and 50 minutes.
Winger said Wilcox likely would be cited for driving with wheels off the roadway.
