PORT ANGELES — Travis John Germeaux, the Forks man charged with vehicular homicide in the Oct. 18 death of a 24-year Port Angeles woman, pleaded not guilty in Clallam County Superior Court on Friday.
Investigators say Germeaux, 29, was driving drunk on a dark road near Forks when his Nissan Maxima struck Mary Elizabeth Cram at about 2:30 a.m.
Cram was taken to Forks Community Hospital and died of her injuries in an ambulance on the way to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles.
Germeaux is being held on $50,000 bail at the Clallam County jail.
A three- to four-day trial was set beginning on Dec. 14.
A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Nov. 20 at 9 a.m.
