Three small earthquakes were recorded off the coast of British Columbia on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The first registered a magnitude of 5.4 and took place at 8:20 a.m. It was followed by a magnitude 4.8 temblor at 9:48 a.m. and a magnitude 4.2 earthquake at 10:14 a.m.
There was no indication of tsunami danger from the quakes, which all occurred at a depth of a little more than 6 miles in an area about 130 miles west of Tofino, B.C.
