PORT ANGELES — Flash forward to a celebration of Clallam County’s past:
April 26, 2004, marks the 150th year since the county broke away from Jefferson County.
It came to pass after Washington became a territory separate from Oregon.
History buffs and leaders hope to make an event of the county’s sesquicentennial, planning of which is already in its early stages.
