THIS WEEK’S SCHEDULE of free outdoor music on the North Olympic Peninsula ends with:
■ SEQUIM SUMMERTIME MUSIC! — Tonight, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., electric violin maestro Geoffrey Castle on the outdoor stage behind the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
Seattle-based Castle has performed around the world and says he is on a mission to change the way people hear the violin.
The Sequim Summertime Music! series continues Friday, Aug. 22, and Friday, Sept. 12, funded by Friends of Sequim Library.
Bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating, plus a picnic dinner. In the case of inclement weather, the show will be held inside the library.
Aug. 22 concert: Community contra dance, with caller Amy Carroll and the Power House band. Dance lessons for all ages.
