Enter PDN's Christmas lights photo contest

By Kris Kringle Peninsula Daily News correspondent

DO YOU THINK you have the most amazing Christmas lights display on the North Olympic Peninsula?

Peninsula Daily News is holding an online photo contest to find the best Christmas lights this season.

Submit a photo of your home or business lit up for the holidays.

We’re looking for homes and businesses lined with lights, yards decked out with decorations, displays of Santa and his reindeer — whatever you’ve done to be festive this year.

The contest is free to enter and open to residents of Clallam and Jefferson counties.

To enter, go to http://pdn.upickem.net/engine/Welcome.aspx?contestid=76884

Click on the “Submission” tab and follow the instructions for registering and submitting your photo.

Please give the address of where the display is located so people can also see it in person.

All entries must be submitted on the web — sorry, no entries by mail, or in person.

You can enter today through noon Friday, Dec. 14.

To view entries as they are posted, click the “View Entries” tab on the contest site.

Winners will be chosen by the public in online voting from Dec. 14 through noon Friday, Dec. 21.

In addition to the bragging rights that come with getting voted “best,” there are also prizes to be won!

The three entries that receive the most online votes will win prizes courtesy of the contest’s sponsors.
