PORT ANGELES — If it’s possible to present wall-to-wall entertainment on three open-air stages, that’s what this year’s Clallam County Fair will do.
Fair officials Friday will host the grand opening of the new Wilder Auto Community Stage that will enable them to present continuous music and magic Aug. 17 through 20.
Formerly the West Stage — Wilder Auto Center bought naming rights for two years with an $8,500 sponsorship — it allows the fair to present at least one act from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. each of the fair’s four days. Some will perform at the fairgrounds’ Sunny Farms Center Stage.
When you add grandstand events that include the Wenatchee Youth Circus, Moto X Stunt Show and the annual rodeo, log show and demolition derby, as many as three shows may run simultaneously.
That’s not counting strolling performers.
