PORT ANGELES — Pinot noir wines will be featured at a wine-tasting sponsored by the Olympic Peninsula Enological Society at Wine on the Waterfront, 115 E. Railroad Ave., from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 6).
Pinot noir is the wine mentioned in the movie “Sideways.”
Participants in this event will “blind taste” seven outstanding and highly rated pinot noirs.
Attendees will receive a folder of information describing each winery and the wines tasted.
After the “blind” tasting, Wine on the Waterfront owner/chef Steve McNabb will present an assortment of treats especially prepared to complement the wines.
Attendance is limited to 30 people.
Cost is $55 for members, $60 for guests.
