THIS WEEK’S BUSINESS meetings on the North Olympic Peninsula (all are open to the public):
■ Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held on the first and third Mondays at noon in the second-floor meeting room of the Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St.
This Monday’s featured speakers will be Port of Port Angeles Board of Commissioners President Jim Hallett and the port’s executive director, Ken O’Hollaren, who will discuss the results of a recent study examining the impact of port activities on the North Olympic Peninsula economy.
In addition, the Chamber of Commerce’s July Business of the Month and Beautification awards will be presented.
Tickets for the luncheon are $15 and can be purchased from the meeting room cashier.
For those not having lunch, there is a $3 participation fee that includes a beverage.
■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.
This Monday’s featured speaker will be Darrell Damron, strategic lead of Gov. Jay Inslee’s Results Washington office.
Results Washington is charged with guiding an effort to bring greater efficiency, effectiveness and accountability to government agencies throughout the state.
The sponsor of Monday’s meeting is Union Bank.
Lunch at $8 will be served by Subway.
■ Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are held at 11:45 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at noon at SunLand Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim.
This Tuesday’s speakers will be Debora Munguia, director of governmental regulations, and Cindy Mitchell, senior director of public affairs, for the Washington Forest Protection Association.
They will speak on “Washington’s Working Forests.”
Tuesday’s meeting sponsor will be Sherwin-Williams Paint Store of Sequim.
Reservations for lunch, which costs $15, must be made by Monday morning, and seats are available for those who are not having lunch. Coffee or tea is $3.

■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.
This Tuesday’s program will focus on Olympic Resource Protection Council activities and the path forward since its petition to amend the Dungeness Water Management Rule was denied by the Department of Ecology last spring.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
