Clallam County commissioners will consider supplemental budget appropriations, budget revisions and debatable budget emergencies when they gather Tuesday.
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. in the commissioners’ meeting room (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St. Port Angeles.
Other agenda items include a proclamation recognizing Monte Simpson, State Patrol District 8 communications center manager.
Commissioners will hold their weekly work session at 9:45 a.m. Monday to preview items set for action in future meetings.
Discussion items include a proposed rezone near the intersection of Fey Road and U.S. Highway 101 and a grant amendment with the state Department of Ecology for a fish passage project on McDonald Creek.
An executive session is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday for the board to discuss pending litigation.
Port Angeles City Council
City Council members will review a proposed 2017 budget that will be unveiled during a special meeting Tuesday.
The meeting is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St.
The meeting is a work session that is open to the public.
Library system
The North Olympic Library System Board of Trustees will conduct a public hearing on a proposed 2017 budget Thursday.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St. in Port Angeles.
A second public hearing on the proposed budget will be Nov. 22.
Port of Port Angeles
Port of Port Angeles commissioners will meet Tuesday to introduce a budget and tax levy resolution.
Also on the agenda is a discussion scheduled for 11 a.m. about the Economic Development Corp.
The meeting will start at 9 a.m. at the port administration building, 338 W. First St.
Clallam PUD
A Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners’ work session that was scheduled for Monday has been canceled.
Sequim City Council
The Sequim City Council will meet Monday to consider an ordinance governing the protection and preservation of trees in parks and rights of way and another related to wireless communication facilities.
Also on the agenda is a cooperative agreement with the state Department of Natural Resources.
The meeting will start at 5 p.m. at the Sequim Civic Center, 152 W. Cedar St.
Forks City Council
The Forks City Council will meet Monday to discuss a 2017 budget.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 500 E. Division St.
Also on the agenda is a resolution for arrearage options before the state Board of Natural Resources and an interlocal agreement with the Association of Washington Cities Risk Management Service Agency.
Quillayute Valley School Board
The Quillayute Valley School Board will meet Tuesday to discuss a joint resolution with the Forks City Council regarding forestry arrearage.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at 411 S. Spartan Ave.
On the consent agenda are:
• Hiring John Dematties as the Forks High School girls’ basketball coach.
• Hiring Shelly Miglietta, Jessica Henry, Ashlee Bentley and Ashley Schmidt as para-educators.
• Purchase of four ChromeBook carts at a cost of $6,590.
