Clallam County commissioners will discuss franchise agreements with WaveDivision, LLC. in their work session that begins at 9 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in the commissioners’ board room (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

Clallam County’s current cable franchise agreements with Wave are set to expire in May 2022. Chief Financial Officer Mark Lane has recommended that commissioners seek a one-year extension of the current franchise agreements, hire a consultant to review current franchises and negotiate terms of a new agreement.

The Port Angeles City Council will consider adopting a two-year strategic plan when it meets in regular session at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
An executive session is set for 5 p.m. to discuss potential litigation.
