Port of Port Angeles commissioners will discuss a commercial lease between the port and Clallam County in a joint meeting with Clallam County commissioners at a meeting at 11 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be at the Port of Port Angeles administration building, 338 W. First St., Port Angeles.
Other agenda items include:
• The marine trades industrial park and improving the environment to foster job creation.
• A quarterly report on the Small Business Development Center.
• A quarterly report on the Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship.
• A quarterly report on the Clallam County Economic Development Corp.

Port of Port Angeles
Port of Port Angeles commissioners will receive a 2020 capital budget introduction in a special meeting at 8 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be at the port’s administration building, 338 W. First St., Port Angeles.
Other agenda items include:
• A first- and second-quarter investment report.
• An amended agreement for a Composite Recycling Technology Center feasibility study.
• An Angeles Composite Technologies Inc. lease agreement.
• A resolution to surplus autoclaves.
• Authorization of the sale of an abandoned vessel.
Clallam County
Clallam County commissioners will consider a $45,000 contract with the Clallam Economic Development Corp. to promote and enhance economic development and employment opportunities at meeting that will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in Room 160 at the Clallam County courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Other action items include:
• A notice of appeal regarding a Phase II national pollution discharge elimination system stormwater permit.
• An agreement with the state Department of Social and Health Services Developmental Disabilities Administration to provide services for persons with developmental disabilities.
• An agreement with the state Department of Social and Health Services for long-term payables or up-front funds to pay providers for services.
• A contract with the state Military Department for reimbursement to Peninsula Communications for E911 coordinator professional development costs.
• A contract amendment with the state Department of Ecology for the Lower Dungeness floodplain restoration project.
• A resolution adopting supplemental appropriations.
• A resolution adopting a budget revision.
• A call for Aug. 13 hearing on a Clallam County public participation plan and scope of work for mineral resource lands designations, policies and regulations.
• A call for Aug. 13 hearing on proposed changes to speed limits on certain county roads.
• A public hearing on code amendments for the Auditor’s Office services fee schedule.
• A public hearing for consideration of debatable budget emergencies.
Commissioners will conduct their weekly work session at 9 a.m. Monday to discuss items set for action in future meetings.
Discussion items include:
• An agreement with Children’s Home Society of Washington for the Parents for Parents parenting engagement, mentor and education program that promotes safe and timely unification of children and parents.
• A grant with the state Department of Commerce to provide safety and stability to youth in a secure crisis residential center.
• An agreement with the state Department of Children, Youth, and Families to cover the period of time until an approved application is received for support block grant programs for juvenile offenders.
• An agreement with the state Department of Children, Youth and Families to cover the period of time until an approved application is received to provide funding to expand evidence-based treatment and training programs administered by local juvenile courts.
• An agreement with Sterling Healthcare Opco, LLC to serve as a collection facility.
• An agreement with the state Department of Ecology for a solid waste management community litter cleanup program.
• An agreement with the Port of Port Angeles for the use of a portion of William R. Fairchild International Airport property for staging of demolition derby vehicles during the 2019 Clallam County Fair.
• An agreement with Gold Buckle Rodeo Company for fair rodeo stock.
Sequim city
The Sequim City Council will conduct a special meeting on a proposed medication-assisted treatment center at 6 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be at the Guy Cole Event Center in Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave.
The meeting is to provide information on the city’s role in the permitting process for the $20 million facility planned on 19.5 acres off Ninth St., and will give the council an opportunity to hear comments from the public, officials said.
Public Utility District
Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners will conduct special meetings for orientations Monday and Tuesday.
The first meeting will begin at 9 p.m. Monday at the Carlsborg main office, 104 Hooker Rd.
The second meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lairds Corner to proceed to a site visit to Gales Addition.
Clallam Transit
The Clallam Transit Board will conduct a special meeting for a planning session Wednesday.
The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. at the Clallam Transit System administrative building, 830 W. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.
