Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners will consider authorizing the issuance and sale of a $570,000 bond to finance the replacement of the Gales Addition water reservoir cover, a wastewater lift station and other capital improvements at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in the Lake Crescent Boardroom at the Carlsborg main office at 104 Hooker Road.
Other agenda items include:
• A 2019-2023 collective bargaining agreement with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 997.
• The $315,997 purchase of a DitchWitch JT25 horizontal directional drill from Charles Machine Works, Inc.
• The prequalifications of contractor Titan Electrical, Inc. on the electrical workers roster.
County commissioners
Clallam County commissioners will hear updates from the Clallam Conservation District and Clallam County Economic Development Corp. at 9 a.m. Monday.
The work session will be in the commissioners’ board room (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Other agenda items include:
• Briefings and calls for hearings on proposed amendments to county policies for employee benefits, purchasing, bids and contracts.
• An update on the current legislative session.
Commissioners will conduct their regular business meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Action items include:
• Recognizing Kaylene Zellar for more than 12 years of service to Clallam County.
• An agreement with North Olympic Regional Veterans’ Housing Network for a kitchen remodel at Sarge’s Place Shelter in Forks.
• A contract amendment with the state Military Department and U.S. Department of Homeland Security for a revised work plan, budget and timeline.
• A contract amendment with Gray & Osborne to provide planning and design services in support of the Clallam Bay/Sekiu sewer facilities plan.

Final approval of a plat to create four additional lots within Matriotti Creek Estates.
Port Angeles city
The Port Angeles City Council will hear a presentation on a wastewater and stormwater cost of service analysis in a joint meeting with the Utility Advisory Committee at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The joint meeting will begin at 3 p.m. in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 321 E. Fifth. St.
Other agenda items for the council-UAC meeting include:
• A proposed net metering policy.
• Pump Station 3 design and construction support.
• A National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) wastewater outfall inspection.
• Changes to the electric utility chapter in municipal code.
On Wednesday, the City Council will hold a special meeting to attend a session of the Climate Action Planning Group.
The public meeting will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday in council chambers.
Sequim city
The Sequim City Council will hear of a proposed ordinance to provide for planned residential developments when they meet at 5 p.m.
The council will meet at Sequim Civic Center, 152 W. Cedar St.
Barry Berezowsky, Community Development director, proposes the ordinance to encourage more affordable housing.
A public hearing on the issue is planned on April 22.
The council also will conduct a public hearing on proposed budget amendments, consider a partnership with the Clallam League of Women Voters on “The Story of Water” project, and consider on-call agreements for traffic engineering services.
Forks city
The Forks City Council will discuss the Quillayute Airport Interfund loan when it meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
The council will meet at City Hall at 500 E. Division St.
It also will discuss first quarter reports on sales and lodging tax and building permits.
Conservation District
The Clallam Conservation District board will consider awarding a contract for the Dungeness well meter replacement project at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in Suite H at Armory Square, 228 W. First St., Port Angeles.
Other agenda items include:
• Cooperator and cost share agreements.
• A cultural resources survey contract with Aqua Terra.
• A Golden Sands and Dungeness on-site septic repair update.
• An update on rates and charges.
Quillayute Valley
The Quillauyute Valley School Board will consider approval of the Forks High School 2019/20 Course Catalog when it meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The board will meet in the library at Forks High School, 261 Spartan Ave.
The board also will discuss the high school improvement plan and hear a report on the state auditor’s office entrance conference.
Port Angeles schools
The Port Angeles School Board will hear a report on the high school health center when it meets at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The board will meet at the Central Services Building, 216 E. Fourth St. An executive session is planned at 6:30 p.m.
Also on the preliminary agenda are reports on athletics and activities and custodial, maintenance and facilities.

The Sequim School Board will convene in an executive session at 5 p.m. Monday.
