The three Jefferson County commissioners will discuss a potential interlocal agreement with the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team when they meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
Government offices are closed Monday in observance of Presidents’ Day.
At 10:45 a.m., commissioners will deliberate a proposed ordinance that would establish a moratorium on commercial shooting facilities in unincorporated Jefferson County.
At 11 a.m., commissioners will deliberate a proposed ordinance related to commercial shooting facilities under Title 8 (Health and Safety).
They also will deliberate a proposed ordinance that would repeal and replace Title 18 of the county code.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council will be briefed on the Parks, Recreation and Open Space plan when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
Council also will consider a resolution that would authorize the city manager to submit an application for public infrastructure grant funds toward the construction of a regional stormwater facility.
An additional agenda item is the first reading of an ordinance that would authorize a television cable franchise to Wave Division III, LLC.
Also meeting this week will be the city’s transportation committee, which will elect a chair and discuss the Adams Street public process at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at council chambers.
The transportation committee also will be briefed and discuss the following items to be placed on a future calendar: Parking management; pavement management; Uber, Lyft and other rideshare services; and the Discovery Road project.
Board of Health
The Jefferson County Board of Health will have a public hearing on the fee policy and proposed fees for 2020 when it meets at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The meeting will be at the public health building, 615 Sheridan St. in Port Townsend.
Board members also will hear from Marnie Boardman, the climate change coordinator for the state Department of Health, regarding how climate change can affect the public.
In addition, county Health Officer Dr. Tom Locke will provide a coronavirus update and include state and local response plans. He also will provide an update on the 2019-20 influenza season.
Port Townsend schools
The Port Townsend School Board is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be in Room S-11 of the Gael Stuart Building, 1610 Blaine St.

The Quilcene School Board will discuss new course proposals when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The Brinnon School Board is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in the school library, 46 Schoolhouse Road, Brinnon.

Jefferson Transit
Jefferson Transit Authority board members will ratify a collective bargaining agreement with the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 587 when they meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The board will meet at the transit facility at 63 Four Corners Road.
The union contract will be in effect through Dec. 31, 2021, and include both 2018 and last year.
Also on the agenda is a resolution to amend JTA’s policy for the Americans with Disabilities Act.
New business includes an interlocal agreement for a summer youth pass.
Public Utility District
Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will discuss a water and sewer fee schedule when they meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at 63 Four Corners Road.
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue commissioners are scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The meeting will be at Station 1-5, 35 Critter Lane, Port Townsend.

Development authority
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority board’s executive committee will be briefed on a 2016-17 audit report when it meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at Commons B, Building 210 at Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way.
Fire District 3
Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will discuss civil action by labor unions when they meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at station headquarters, 323 N. Fifth Ave. in Sequim.
Commissioners also will discuss a ambulance chassis surplus and information on a hiring recommendation.
The district covers the east side of Clallam County with a small portion in Jefferson County.
