The three Jefferson County commissioners will receive a briefing on the Rocky Brook draft development agreement from Associate Planner David Johnson and Civil Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Austin Watkins on Monday.
They will also be briefed on proposed draft hearing examiner code by Watkins and Johnson when they meet at 9 a.m.
The commissioners also will consider a resolution establishing and appointing members to a Jefferson County Critical Areas Regulatory Reform Task Force.
An executive session with the county administrator and chief civil deputy prosecuting attorney about actual litigation is planned.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
Items on the consent agenda include a change order for an additional $2,400 for the South Discovery Road pavement preservation project for Lakeside Industries Inc.; and two advisory board reappointments to the Conservation Futures Citizen Oversight Committee: Coastal Areas Representative Richard Jahnke and Citizen Representative JD Gallant.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council will hold a special business meeting when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
On the agenda is a closed session regarding planning or adopting a strategy for professional negotiations.
In public session, the council will consider a public education and government access television/Wave franchise agreement.
It will also consider a resolution allocation additional funding for the Mountain View project.
The Council Rules Committee meeting , scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, has been canceled.
The next City Council business meeting will be 6:30 p.m. July 15.
Port Townsend schools
The Port Townsend School Board meeting scheduled for Monday at the Gael Stuart Building, 1610 Blaine St., has been canceled.
The review update of the district’s strategic plan and annual goals for the superintendent, which were scheduled for the July 8 agenda, have been moved to the Aug. 15 agenda.
The board will hold its public hearing on the 2019-20 budget at 4:30 p.m. July 18. A regular business meeting will follow at 5:30 p.m.
Port of Port Townsend
Port of Port Townsend commissioners will hold a public workshop at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The agenda for the public workshop includes discussion of yard seasonal discount rates.
The regular session will begin at 1 p.m. in chambers, 333 Benedict St.
On the agenda for the regular session is the first reading of the 2020 operating budget and capital budget development schedule.
Also up for consideration is Resolution 704-19, rescinding Resolution 698-19, a multi-year levy.
The commissioners will also consider a work yard resurfacing contract award, hear a report of the second quarter project and other items.
Chimacum School Board
The Chimacum School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.
An agenda was not available as of press time.
The board has scheduled a public hearing on its 2019-20 budget for 6 p.m. July 24 in the high school library.
Quilcene School Board
The Quilcene School Board will meet next at 6 p.m. July 17.
The board will meet in Room 9 at 294715 U.S. Highway 101.
Jefferson Transit
Jefferson Transit board members will meet at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 27.
The board will meet at the transit facility at 63 Four Corners Road in Port Townsend.
No meeting is scheduled for July.
Fire District 3
Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will meet at 1 p.m. July 16, at the board’s headquarters, 253 N. Fifth Ave. in Sequim
The district covers the east side of Clallam County with a small portion in Jefferson County.
