The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider agreements for roadwork when they meet Tuesday.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
The meeting, originally planned for Monday, has been moved to Tuesday because of the Memorial Day holiday.
Commissioners will recess into executive session at 10 a.m.
On the consent agenda are several road projects.
They include:
â– Slide repair on Dosewallips Road. An emergency repair costing $126,000 was made after a March 6 slide. A permanent repair will cost $160,000. Funding of $257,400 from the Washington State County Road Administration Board and a 10 percent match from the county roads fund will cover the cost of both.
â– Replacement of culverts on Upper Hoh Road in West Jefferson County, with all funding from the Federal Highway Administration.
â– Quinault South Shore Road. A permanent repair is needed to mitigate the impact to riparian and aquatic habitat caused by an emergency repair made in April 2010.
The Federal Highway Emergency Relief Fund will provide 86.5 percent of the $374,000 needed, with a 13.5 percent match from the county roads fund.
Other items on the consent agenda include:
■An amendment adding two school nurse visits to the agreement between Jefferson County Public Health and the Olympic Educational Service District adding not more than $1,2016 — $606 each from the Port Townsend and Chimacum school districts.
â– An agreement to pay for auctioneer services with the amount to be determined by auction sales.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend Parks, Recreation and Trees Advisory Board will consider work parties and hear an update on a dog park and a state grant for trails when it meets Tuesday.
The panel will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the first-floor conference room at City Hall, 250 Madison St.
The Port Townsend City Council will not meet this week.
The parks advisory board will discuss work parties at Kah Tai Lagoon Nature Park, Sather Park and Haller Fountain.
Council office hours, during which members of the public can discuss any topic with a member of the City Council, take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday in the mayor’s office at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
Also meeting this week will be the Arts Commission Artist Selection Panel. The meeting is set from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday in the third-floor conference room at 250 Madison St.
Climate Action Committee
The Climate Action Committee will consider a draft resolution for an extension when it meets Wednesday.
The panel, a joint Jefferson County-Port Townsend city committee, will meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Cotton Building, 607 Water St., Port Townsend.
It will consider asking Jefferson County commissioners and the Port Townsend City Council that the committee be extended for another three years.
The committee was formed to develop strategies to implement a climate action plan approved in 2011 to reduce greenhouse emissions by 80 percent from 1990 levels by 2050.
Port Townsend schools
The Port Townsend School Board will consider adopting the state-mandated graduation requirement policy at a meeting Tuesday.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Gael Stuart Building, 1630 Blaine St.
Jefferson Healthcare hospital
Jefferson Healthcare hospital commissioners will review hospital governance policies when they meet Wednesday.
The special meeting will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Home Health Conference Room, Suite 300, 2500 W. Sims Way.
Commissioners also will hear an administrative update from the CEO.
No action is to be taken.
Port of Port Townsend
Port of Port Townsend commissioners plan a meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at 333 Benedict St. No agenda was posted as of Saturday.
Chimacum schools
The Chimacum School Board plans a meeting Wednesday.
It will be at 6 p.m. in the Chimacum High School library, 91 West Valley Road.
