The Jefferson Healthcare hospital commissioners will hear a preview of 2013 from CEO Mike Glenn when they meet Wednesday.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. in the hospital auditorium, 834 Sheridan St., Port Townsend.
Commissioners also will discuss the state Open Public Meetings Act and consider action on medical staff appointments.
Jefferson County Conservation District
The Jefferson County Conservation District supervisors will conduct a special planning meeting on Wednesday.
The special meeting will begin at 4 p.m., before the regular meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Shold Business Park, 205 W. Patison St., Port Hadlock.
The district’s monthly board meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month.
Jefferson County
The Jefferson County commissioners are not scheduled to meet this week because of the New Year’s Eve holiday.
Port Townsend City Council
The Port Townsend City Council is not scheduled to meet this week because of the New Year’s Day holiday.
Special City Council office hours, where anyone can talk with a council member without an appointment, will take place from Thursday in the mayor’s office on the second floor of Historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
City committee meetings, which take place in the conference rooms in City Hall at 250 Madison St., are:
— Arts Commission — 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, first floor conference room.
–Non-Motorized Transportation Advisory Board — 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, first floor conference room.
Olympic Area Agency on Aging
The Olympic Area Agency on Aging Council of Governments will consider approval of the 2013 Older Americans Act contract and election of officers when it meets Thursday.
The meeting of the group based at 11700 Rhody Drive in Port Hadlock will be at 10 a.m. via conference call.
The Olympic Area Agency on Aging covers Jefferson, Clallam, Grays Harbor and Pacific counties.
The group’s advisory council will meet Jan. 15 at the Shelton Civic Center in Shelton.
