EYE ON JEFFERSON: Port conducts public meeting on rates

Port of Port Townsend commissioners will discuss rates at a special public workshop Wednesday.

The session will begin at 5:30 p.m. in chambers, 333 Benedict St.

Port of Port Townsend commissioners are considering raising rates for moorage, electricity and fees at port marinas from between 10 percent and 16 percent over the 2016 rates.

Port officials hope to implement revised rates April 1.

Jefferson Healthcare

Jefferson Healthcare commissioners will consider a real estate purchase when they meet Wednesday.

Commissioners will meet at 3:30 p.m. in the Victor J. Dirksen Conference Room on the first floor of 834 Sheridan St.

They will be told of an opportunity to purchase real estate.

They also will consider a potential behavioral health partnership.

Port Townsend city

Two city committees will meet this week.

The Port Townsend Arts Commission will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the first-floor conference room at City Hall, 250 Madison St.

The Non-Motorized Transportation Advisory Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, also in the first-floor conference room at 250 Madison St.

The Port Townsend City Council will not meet this week.

Jefferson County ­commission

The three Jefferson County commissioners have no meeting scheduled for Monday.
