Community boards and commissions will discuss a cultural access program tax, the Healthier Together Task Force and funding options from the joint public safety facility this week.

Clallam County Commissioners

The three Clallam County commissioners will consider a one-tenth of 1 percent sales and use tax for a Clallam County cultural access program during their weekly business meeting Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which will start at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

• An amended agreement with the state Department of Social and Health Services’ Developmental Disabilities Administration for $2,601,623 for the county to provide services for residents with developmental disabilities through June 30, 2025.

• An agreement with the state Recreation and Conservation Office for $37,000 to purchase trail equipment and repair restrooms at Salt Creek Recreation Area.

• A call for hearing at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 8 regarding an ordinance amending Clallam County Code Chapter 11.04, Speed Limits on County Roads.

• An update from Steve Gray, Jeff Ralston and Will Habel on the Olympic Adventure Trail Whiskey Creek crossing replacement project.

• Pre-application questionnaire with Department of Agriculture for a $48,937.43 food assistance grant.

• An amended agreement with Cornerstone Pentecostal Evangelical Church of Clallam Bay/Sekiu releasing $51,897 in American Rescue Plan Act funds back to the county for other ARPA uses.

• A discussion of the draft annual review process for the county administrator.
