Meetings across the North Olympic Peninsula

A six-year transportation improvement plan, community development block grants and an update on broadband expansion will be before boards and commissions on the Peninsula next week.

Clallam County commission

The three Clallam County commissioners will discuss a settlement offer in the matter of numerous tax appeals during their weekly work session Monday and their business meeting Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which will start at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The commissioners also will have an executive session to discuss litigation or possible litigation during a special meeting at 7:45 a.m. Monday.

The hybrid meetings are in the county commissioners’ meeting room in the Clallam County courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

• Several resolutions appointing or reappointing members of various volunteer boards and committees.

• A call for a public hearing to be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 26 regarding proposed levies for the general purpose, road fund and conservation futures property taxes.

• An agreement with Swift Plumbing and Heating for $484,079 to replace the chiller at the Juvenile Services Facility.

• Agreement amendment 1 with state Department of Transportation for the Clallam Slough bridge replacement project.

• An amended agreement with Clallam County Parks, Fair and Facilities to extend the completion date on the 2024 Lodging Tax funding request for Clallam Bay County Park.

• Amended agreements with Peninsula Housing Authority and the Sequim Food Bank regarding unspent American Rescue Plan Act funds.
