The three Clallam County commissioners will consider a letter of support for The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe’s request to restore the protection area around the Tse-whit-zen village during their weekly work session Monday and their weekly business meeting Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

• A resolution to close the Osborn Road Fund since the road project was completed in 2023.

• An agreement with the Peninsula Daily News to publish legal advertisements and delinquent tax lists for Clallam County.

• An update on the Towne Road/Dungeness levee surfacing project.

• An amended grant agreement with the state Recreation and Conservation Office.

• A memorandum of understanding with the Agnew Irrigation District regarding improvements in fish passage and irrigation water conveyance.

• A letter of support for Clallam County Public Utility District No. 1’s request to the Bonneville Power Administration for improved transmission reliability.

• A letter to the state Department of Transportation requesting department representation at commissioner meetings at least quarterly to improve communication regarding road projects.

• A recommendation to appoint Judith Sarles to the Trails Advisory Committee.

• A resolution appointing 34 members to the county’s Revenue Advisory Committee.

• An agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for a $125,000 wildfire defense grant.

• A call for bids for the Lake Pleasant piling replacement project. Bids are due by 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 9; there will be a pre-bid walk through of the project site at 2 p.m. Friday, March 29, at 10 Picnic Loop, Beaver.

• A purchase agreement with Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. for $59,840 to renew the geographic information system software license for another year.

• Final ordinance regarding recreational park trailer placement.
