Claire Africa, along with husband Kit, owners of Sailor Vineyard, inspects some of the Marechal Foch grapes grown on their 3 acres in Port Townsend.
The Marechal Foch is a hybrid grape named after the famous French general known for his short stature and robustness. The grape is resistant to disease and known for its cold weather hardiness.
