Memorial Day weekend raises the ferry riding season for destinations branching off the North Olympic Peninsula.
One of the primary destinations is Victoria.
Victoria Express will start its spring-summer passenger service to and from the British Columbia capital on Saturday.
The passenger service offers two round-trip sailings daily through July, then will add two additional round trips.
Meanwhile, the MV Coho car-passenger ferry adds an extra round trip each day this weekend.
The Coho has three round-trip sailings through June 19, then adds a fourth daily round trip.
