PORT ANGELES — “Love in the Time of Fentanyl” will be hosted by Social Norm’s at 3 p.m. Saturday.
The free screening of the PBS documentary will be at First United Methodist Church, 110 E. Seventh St., Port Angeles. Attendees should use the Laurel Street entrance.
Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
It will be followed by a panel discussion.
The documentary explores a supervised consumption site in Vancouver, B.C., during a spike in the number of overdose deaths.
Panelists Wahji Kasten, Lisa Al-Hakim and Carra Wetzel-Chubb will discuss the overdose crisis, how safe injection sites could be a solution and ways communities can help the people most impacted.
The program is co-sponsored by Indie Lens Pop-Up, Clallam County Health and Human Services and Social Norm’s.
