Finest fall foliage at Boat Haven

PORT ANGELES — A maple tree along the Waterfront Trail near Port Angeles Boat Haven puts on a display of vivid red as autumn gets into full swing in Western Washington.

Foliage in many areas of the North Olympic Peninsula is peaking in fall color while other areas have yet to make the transition from summer green.
