A double-wide mobile home owned by the Log Cabin Resort on Lake Crescent was destroyed in a fire early Wednesday.
Nobody was in the 12-by 30-foot home at the time of the fire, said Chief Jon Bugher of Clallam County Fire District No. 2.
No one was injured during the fire.
Becky Rice, owner and operator of the Log Cabin Resort, said that her son, Mike Rice, who also works at the resort, lived in the home but was not there when the fire started.
Bugher said that the cause of the fire remained under investigation on Wednesday, but that firefighters suspected it was caused by an electrical failure.
