Many events in celebration of Halloween are happening only on Thursday, All Hallow’s Eve. Here is a list:
PORT TOWNSEND
PT trick-or-treat
PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Main Street program’s annual Downtown Trick or Treat and Costume Parade will start at 4 p.m.
Costumed participants will gather at 3:45 p.m. for the parade at Water and Adams streets, near the Bank of America clock.
The parade will march down Water Street toward Polk Street.
Then, children can trick-or-treat merchants who display “Trick or Treat Here” signs on the way back up Water Street, Washington Street and streets in between.
This event is geared for kindergartners through sixth-graders. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

PORT LUDLOW
Decorated vehicles
PORT LUDLOW — A “Trunk-a-Treat” event is set in the parking lot at Oak Bay Road and Marina View Drive from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to bring their decorated vehicles to the celebration and come in costume.
The event will be canceled if it rains.

QUILCENE
Halloween party
QUILCENE — The Quilcene Community Center’s sixth annual Halloween party will be held at the center, 294952 U.S. Highway 101, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The event has a time-warp theme and is open to all ages.
Free games, prizes, food, photos and more will be provided.
“Time-warped” snacks will be served, and Bob Rosen will shoot photos of the most warped costumes.
PORT ANGELES
Trick-or-treat PA
PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Downtown Association will host trick-or-treat for kids accompanied by adults from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Stores bearing orange signs will offer treats to costumed children.
From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Fifth Floor Haunted House at the downtown Elks Naval Lodge, 131 E. First St., will swing open its doors for a kid-friendly afternoon.
Admission is $3 for two kids and one adult.
Proceeds benefit the Elks National Foundation as well as local Elks scholarships.
Halloween trick-or-treating will be held in Downtown Port Angeles from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday.
More than 100 businesses will take part in the annual trick-or-treat event.
Price Ford trunk-treat
PORT ANGELES — Price Ford Lincoln will host a trunk-or-treat event at the dealership, 3311 E. U.S. Highway 101, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
More than 25 local businesses will decorate Price Ford Lincoln vehicles and hand out treats from the dealership’s trunks.
The event is free and open to the public.
Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
SEQUIM
Merchant trick-or-treat
SEQUIM — Trick-or-treaters can look for a pumpkin in the window of participating businesses in Sequim from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Sequim-Dungeness Chamber of Commerce.
Food donations
SEQUIM — On Halloween night, Sequim High School students will trick-or-treat for nonperishable food items instead of candy in many residential areas around town.
Members of the community interested in contributing should have items ready for donation.
Food donations will be accepted at the school through Nov. 6 and will be given to the Sequim Food Bank.
Harvest party set
SEQUIM — A Children’s Harvest Party hosted by First Baptist Church of Sequim, 1323 Sequim-Dungeness Way, is planned for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The event will offer family activities geared for children from preschool through elementary.
Activities will include a space walk, bowling, fishing, crazy ducks, cake walk, ring toss and guessing game.
Prizes will be awarded for participating in games and to all children in costume.
The Spiders and Bats Cafe will have free refreshments, and Trunk-a-Treat candy will be offered.

SEQUIM — Olympic View Church of God, corner of Brown Road and Fir Street, will hold its fourth annual Trunk or Treat Halloween event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The church invites the whole family to the free event.
The safe, family-friendly evening will include hayrides, food and drinks, and treats for kids.

Hallow’d Eve Fest
SEQUIM — Faith Lutheran Church, 382 W. Cedar St., will hold a Hallow’d Eve Harvest Festival from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The event is free and includes games, prizes, candy, a cake walk and a cooking contest.
The Olympic Mountain Cloggers will perform from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
“Church-appropriate” costumes are welcome.

SEQUIM — King’s Way Foursquare Church, 1023 Kitchen-Dick Road, will hold The Bash, a family-friendly event, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event is free and includes games, horses, candy, a rock-climbing wall and other indoor and outdoor activities.
Attendees are asked not to wear scary costumes.
Concessions and espresso are available for purchase.

FORKS — A family-friendly “Truck or Treat” event will be held at the Forks Assembly of God Church, 81 Huckleberry Lane, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Trick-or-treaters can stop by and get candy and prizes from themed trucks.
Children of all ages are welcome.
