West End residents will have a chance tonight to comment on proposed changes to Clallam County’s home rule charter at a public hearing in Forks.
The last of three hearings before the Charter Review Commission will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Forks City Hall council chambers, 500 E. Division St.
More than 30 county residents in public forums have addressed the charter commission’s proposed changes, which include electing county commissioners solely by district and highlighting criminal justice as the “paramount duty” of the county.
