The Forks City Council will hold a special meeting today to consider selling performance bonds to remodel City Hall.
If approved, bonds would be sold to pay for renovating City Hall including the replacement of the roof and adding more office space and a storage vault, Forks City Attorney Rod Fleck said.
Last week, the City Council awarded the job to Port Angeles-based Hoch Construction, which bid $285,000 to complete the renovation.
The bid was passed to Hoch Construction after the low bidder — Poulsbo-based Cleveland Construction — withdrew its $270,000 bid.
The meeting is set to begin at 4:45 p.m. in City Hall, 500 E. Division St.
