FORKS — Steve Markwell, executive director of the embattled Olympic Animal Sanctuary, was arrested this morning after police officers saw him allegedly kick the car of a protester outside the sanctuary at 1021 Russell Road.
Markwell was booked in Forks City Jail on a charge of malicious mischief in the third-degree around 7:30 a.m.
He was released on personal recognizance.
