FORKS — The state Department of Social and Health Services has announced a change to the staffing hours for its community services outstation in Forks.
Beginning Monday, the outstation will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, according to a press release from the department.
The outstation, which is located at the Forks Transit Center, 551 S. Forks Ave., connects people with public benefits like food, cash and medical assistance as well as other resources.
The department said being open three consecutive days each week will provide more consistent access for residents on the West End.
