Forks, Port Angeles mayors support president’s actions

Two mayors of Forks and Port Angeles are standing behind President Bush and his statements regarding Iraq.

“I believe we support our troops. Men have died for our country for centuries and if they are willing to make that sacrifice, we should support them,” Forks Mayor Nedra Reed said during a telephone interview Tuesday.

Reed said she supports Bush’s proposed military action and likened Saddam Hussein to Adolf Hitler.
